If my client is compromised, do I need to do anything?
You won't need to do anything but you will be alerted as soon as a breach of any kind is detected.
Our 24/7 SOC Team will jump into action and disable an account when they suspect it's involved in malicious activity.
This will always be communicated with you/your client so you know exactly what is happening and why.
Do I need to manage the MDR service for my client?
Channel Host fully setup, manage and support the service so you don't need to do anything.
We do however have partners who prefer to take a more 'hands-on' approach and we can cater for this. You will have access to the MDR and our 24/7 SOC will contact you in the event of any suspicious activity so you can decide the next steps based on the nature of the breach.
What is the setup process?
The setup process is a fairly simple one as there is a direct connecter from the Microsoft 365 MDR to your client's Microsoft 365 tenant.
Typically we work with the partner to connect the MDR with your client's Microsoft 365 tenant but if you prefer, we can do this directly with your client.
Like everything we do, if we contact your client directly, we will do so 'as you' so they won't be aware of Channel Host.
Can I select which of my clients accounts I want protected by Microsoft 365 MDR?
Our solution isn't able to remove users from the MDR service as we consider every user a potential attack vector for a threat actor to leverage in an incident.
Users can be created and removed and this will reflect in your MDR service but it's an 'all or nothing' approach purely for security reasons.
