What is included with Microsoft 365 Backup?

The backup will also include any shared environments within OneDrive and Sharepoint and also shared mailboxes. All users that are part of these shared environments would require a license.
How does the Malware Detection work that is included as part of the backup?
Our Microsoft 365 Backup utilises cutting-edge AI-powered technology to safeguard your client's Microsoft 365 data.

We thoroughly scrutinize any newly added or modified files for any signs of malware. This way, we can preemptively identify and eliminate any threats, protecting your client's backup data.

As the partner, will I be alerted of any files infected by malware?
Yes, you will have full access to your own Control Panel and will receive daily reports and alerts.
These reports will give you a run-down of your client's backups to tell you if they've been successful or not. The reports will also alert you of any changes and if your client has any infected files that need to be investigated.
Do Microsoft recommend that clients who use their service seek a third-party backup?
Section 6 of Microsoft’s Services Agreement states: “We recommend you regularly back up your content and data . . . using third-party apps and services.”
