What is the setup process?
The setup is really straightforward. Once your order is placed, your Dedicated Migration Manager will touchbase with you to plan the setup of your client.
Every plan is unique and we take into account every single one of your client's requirements to make sure the solution works perfectly for them. We can build the solution alongside your client's existing environment and agree a go-live date that suits them to manage and minimise downtime.
We can be as involved in the setup and migration as you want us to be.
Will there be any downtime during the Hosyed Desktop setup?
Before starting the setup, we will agree a migration plan and a go-live date that suits all parties. Since our first migration in 2009, we have never experienced a client being unable to work as a result of a Hosted Desktop deployment.
In the lead-up to the go-live date, we will ensure that we have installed and migrated everything that your client needs, meaning that when we reach the point of switchover, they can log straight in to the Hosted Desktop and seamlessly carry on with business.
We can give you full access if you want to handle the migration yourself too!
How do the commercials and billing work?
We won't invoice you until your client is fully setup and using the system.
Our invoicing run happens on or around the 15th of each month, so if for example the client went live on the 27th, you wouldn't receive the first invoice until the 15th of the following month.
You will be invoiced at the partner rate and you simply just need to bill your client at the price you've agreed with them. No pro-rata. No mess. Simple.
