Do you deal with the client directly or through us as the partner?

Whichever you prefer. We can contact the client 'as you' and have all the certification related communication directly with them to save you the work or if you'd like to oversee the process, we can do everything via your company.

We're flexible enough across all our plans to approach it however you want us to.

What happens if my clients needs additional work to become Cyber Essentials ready?

If you have opted for our Review & Submit or Fully Managed plans, we will advise you exactly what the client needs in order to pass.

It's likely that we can handle what they need so if it's not something you provide or want to take on, just ask us.

What's the difference between the Review & Submit plan and the Fully Managed plan?

Review & Submit Plan: Tailored for businesses already acquainted with Cyber Essentials or renewing their certification. If you require an expert to evaluate your client's application against the latest standards, or guidance on necessary modifications for compliance, this plan is ideal. Once everything aligns, our assessors take charge of the submission and assessment.

Fully Managed Plan: Perfect for those new to Cyber Essentials or who may lack established security controls. Opt for this plan when your client seeks comprehensive assistance, from initiation to completion, with our experts handling the intricacies.

Regardless of your chosen plan, our dedicated team assures a seamless journey, guaranteeing a successful first-time pass for your client.

How do the commercials and billing work?

All the billing will be between Channel Host and your organisation - you can then invoice your client at the rate you have agreed for the certification and service.

If we recommend that your client needs any additional services, we will always send this to you so you can quote the client the service/s that we propose or you can quote your own solution/s if it's something you already provide or want to source elsewhere.

• Educational Guides for their staff: Non-branded Guides such as 'How to spot a phishing email' and 'How to Secure your Data'
• Security Consult Call with Phil: Where Phil will get a better understanding of their business and answer and any concerns or questions they have
• A full report with recommendations: Based on our findings and their Risk Score, we will produce an easy to digest recommendations report to bolster their defences which will be sent to you (not them) for you to brand, send on and do what you like with.
